Recent events in Nigeria have reshaped the Oil and Gas Industry. With the enactment of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), there have been significant changes in the Sector such as:

• More indigenous investors entering the Oil and Gas industry
• Some foreign investors are scaling down their operations.
• Incidences of missing and unaccounted crudes have plagued the petroleum industry
• Infrastructural expansions, but utilization is static or growing at a terribly slowpace.

Government is making inroads into the stability of the industry by ways of incentives and promotion of supplies. Price has remained unstable and unpredicted, making daily sales planning, and forecasting difficult. Safety and regulations are becoming more relevant in today’s world likewise technological improvements. These are various issues determining our today and tomorrow in the Petroleum Industry.

As a significant stakeholder in the industry, marketing LPG, we strongly believe that the time to meet and discuss the relevant issues reshaping our industry is now. NALPGAM is organizing this National Conference for stakeholders to deliberate on the issues that would determine the future of our business.
